On
15 January 2020, I watched the Pelosi gaggle “Waltzing Across the Rotunda”
ceremony to deliver the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate and was
disappointed she hadn’t
arranged for the Army Band to provide accompanying
music as they were all marching out of step. Noticed she timed what the Washington
Post (WaPo) termed her “Parade” late in the day just in time for the evening
network news shows. Senator McConnell should have already closed up the Senate
so she would have had to drop off the documents in their overnight drop box.
The only thing more ridiculous then her “parade” was her
Multi-Pen signing
ceremony surrounded by her posse chuckling and “high 5-ing” each other. I fully
expect the DNC to be selling replica pens as a money maker consistent with the
dignity in which the “signing ceremony” was conducted. I wasn’t offended, I was
entertained but just thought the production could have been better
choreographed.
So
much for a facade of dignity. McConnell should return the Articles for an illegible
signature. I’m confident he will conduct the Senate trial in a much more
dignified manner then the House “Schiff Show” fiasco was handled and I look
forward to an entertaining January watching the tag-team of Schiff-Nadler perform
their “second act.”
