D.C. Pride parade returns after a year of attacks against LGBTQ

According to
Gallup “LGBT Identification in U.S. is 7.1%,” which means 92.9% are Straights
so there are over 13 times as many Straight Americans as LGBTQs so why so much
LGBTQ WaPo coverage?

Personally, I don’t care about anyone’s gender identity unless it impinges on someone else’s rights like unfairly allowing real females being displaced in sports by bigger, faster, stronger biological males in drag masquerading as females. I also don’t appreciate anyone flaunting their sexuality “in my face.”
I also believe adults should be free to mutilate their bodies any way they want to including breast enhancement, face lifts, genitalia disfiguration and even suicide but children are different. Children 18 and under should not be allowed to do anything irreversible until they have reached an age where they fully understand the life long consequences of their decision. Parent that begin sex changing children as young a three are doing it for themselves and not the child. Maybe a better alternative would be having more children in hopes of getting one of the sex you really wanted.
If 600,000 people show up to this parade today and only 7.1% of the population is LBGTQ, than 42,600 will be LBGTQs parading and 557,400 will be there to catch a freak show.
